The Baths

  • "The Cathedral" Baths, Virgin Gorda

The Baths at Virgin Gorda BVI are an absolute MUST-VISIT!! Lazy Bouy takes you there quickly, comfortably, and in style.

If anything tops the list of "must see things" in the British Virgin Islands, it has to be the Baths of Virgin Gorda. Geologically known as a "Batholith" The Baths of Virgin Gorda is one of the few geological formations of it's kind in the world. Essentially, the Baths are thousands of giant boulders piled on top of each other on and around some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This pile up created over thousands of years, makes for a wonderland of caverns, caves, pools and baths. Boulders and coral along the shoreline also make for unsurpassed snorkeling.

Part of a National Park, The Baths can be reached by boat (most days) or shore. "Top of the Baths" is also a great restaurant for taking in the view over the baths into the Sir Francis Drake channel and beyond.
